Stripe + Salesforce integration

Combine Stripe + Salesforce and move payment data into Salesforce, or CRM data into Stripe. Just ask Letaido's AI agent and watch it do the work.

Best Stripe and Salesforce integration jobs to start with

Use this Stripe Salesforce integration for billing fields, churn flags, payment follow-ups and won deals.

Every morning at 6am

Stripe billing on Salesforce accounts

Every morning the agent writes Stripe plan, MRR, renewal date and status to matching Salesforce accounts; accounts with non-USD, metered or tiered prices are skipped.

When a subscription is canceled

Stripe churn flags on Salesforce accounts

When a customer's last live Stripe subscription is canceled, the agent flags the Salesforce account churned with the reason and adds an owner win-back task.

When a payment fails

Account owner tasks for failed Stripe payments

When a Stripe payment fails, the account owner gets a Salesforce task with the amount due, retry date when provided, and invoice link.

When a new subscription is paid

New Stripe subscriptions close Salesforce opportunities

When a new USD Stripe subscription is first paid, the agent marks the account's only open Salesforce opportunity Closed Won with amount and subscription ID.

Every hour

Bill won Salesforce opportunities in Stripe

Every hour the agent starts an invoiced Stripe subscription for each newly won Salesforce opportunity whose products match licensed recurring Stripe prices in one currency.

When you ask

Upsell deals with Stripe billing history

Ask for your open upsell opportunities and get a table with each account's Stripe plan, recurring revenue and last 12 months of invoices.

Stripe Salesforce integration options, compared

Stripe's own app syncs billing data and runs the flows you build. Leta runs jobs you describe.

Stripe and Salesforce: the old way vs. Letaido

  1. 1Export subscriptions from Stripe
  2. 2Work out MRR in a spreadsheet
  3. 3Find each account in Salesforce
  4. 4Paste plan, MRR and renewal date
  5. 5Do it again next week
Every morning at 6am, read my Stripe subscriptions that are active, trialing, past due or unpaid. Match each customer's email to a Salesforce contact and write the plan, MRR, next renewal date and subscription status to the contact's account, in Stripe_Plan__c, Stripe_MRR__c, Stripe_Renewal_Date__c and Stripe_Status__c. The renewal date is the earliest current period end across the account's live subscription items; clear it when none are left. We bill in USD, so only count fixed recurring USD prices: skip accounts with a metered, tiered or non-USD price and list them for me. Skip customers who aren't Salesforce contacts and tell me how many.
Accounts, tab Updated this morning
[email protected], Team, SSO add-on, $612.50
[email protected], Business, $990.00
27 Stripe customers aren't Salesforce contacts, so they were skipped. 2 accounts were skipped and listed in the run summary: Quarry Labs has a metered price and Fennel GmbH pays in EUR. Northwind's SSO add-on is billed yearly ($1,470.00), so it counts as $122.50 a month. Renewal dates are the earliest item period end per account: Northwind's monthly Team item ends Oct 28, before its yearly SSO add-on. Harbor's last subscription ended yesterday, so its plan and renewal date were cleared.

Frequently asked

Does Stripe integrate with Salesforce? +

Yes. Stripe's own app for Salesforce Platform syncs Stripe billing data into Salesforce custom objects, and you build custom work in Flow Builder or Apex. Letaido's AI agent, Leta, adds jobs you describe in chat, and the jobs on this page have been checked step by step.

How do I connect Stripe and Salesforce to Letaido? +

Connect each app once in Letaido. Salesforce needs an edition with API access. Jobs that begin on a Stripe event also need a webhook endpoint created in your Stripe Dashboard, with its signing secret pasted into Letaido. After that, describe the job in chat or reuse a prompt from this page.

Can a failed Stripe payment start a job right away? +

Yes. When Stripe sends a failed invoice payment, a canceled subscription or a new subscription's first payment, the matching job begins. Salesforce edits can't begin a job here. Everything else runs at set times, such as hourly or each morning at 6am, or whenever you ask in chat.

Is there a way to get Stripe MRR and renewal dates into Salesforce? +

Yes. Every morning, Leta writes each customer's Stripe plan, MRR, next renewal date and subscription status to their Salesforce account, matched by contact email. The renewal date is the earliest current period end across the account's live subscription items, and it's cleared when none are left. Create the four Stripe fields on Account first. MRR uses fixed recurring USD prices before discounts; accounts with a metered, tiered or non-USD price are skipped and listed for you.

Can it close Salesforce opportunities when a customer pays? +

Yes, for USD billing. When a new Stripe subscription's first invoice is paid, Leta sets the account's open opportunity to Closed Won with the amount and the subscription ID. If the account has no open opportunity or several, nothing changes and Leta reports it.

How do won Salesforce opportunities get billed in Stripe? +

Every hour, when the prices fit, Leta bills each newly won opportunity as a Stripe subscription paid by invoice. Each product code must match the lookup key of a licensed recurring Stripe price, and all matched prices must share one currency, because metered prices can't take a quantity and one subscription can't mix currencies. Otherwise the opportunity is left alone and Leta tells you why. Each subscription is tagged with the opportunity ID, so a retry reuses it instead of billing twice, and billing uses Stripe list prices, not opportunity discounts.

Do I still need the Stripe app for Salesforce? +

Only if you want Stripe's billing objects synced into Salesforce or its order to cash flow templates. Leta doesn't mirror records: it writes to the accounts, opportunities and tasks you already use, and skips customers who aren't Salesforce contacts. These jobs work with or without Stripe's app.

Will it ask before it changes Salesforce or Stripe? +

Allow all read operations once per app; approve each kind of write once.
