Text a campaign from a Google Sheet
Leta texts your message to each opted-in row in a Google Sheet from your Twilio number, then writes Twilio's answer in the Status column.
Combine Twilio + Google Sheets and move texts and calls into your sheets. Just ask Letaido's AI agent and watch it do the work.
Use this Twilio Google Sheets integration to text your sheet's contacts, log replies and missed calls, check each contact's latest text and check phone numbers.
Leta texts your message to each opted-in row in a Google Sheet from your Twilio number, then writes Twilio's answer in the Status column.
Every morning, text a reminder to everyone in your sheet whose event is tomorrow, skip opt-outs, and write Twilio's answer in Status.
Every hour, Leta adds the texts people sent to your Twilio number to a Replies tab with a type, and marks STOP senders opted out.
Every weekday at 8am, Leta adds the unanswered, busy or failed calls to your Twilio number to a Callbacks tab, with the caller's name.
Leta finds the latest Twilio text to each texted contact in the past 7 days and writes Delivered, or why not, in Delivery.
Check every number in a sheet with Twilio's number lookup and write back the clean format, whether it's valid, and the country.
Most options can text from a sheet. Leta also writes a reminder for each person, checks each contact's latest text and checks phone numbers.

| Letaido AI agent | A schedule, such as every hour or every morning, or a request in chat | Personal texts to opted-in rows, reminders, reply and missed call logs, latest-text delivery and phone list checks | Neither connector has triggers, so a new row doesn't start a text: jobs follow a schedule or your request. Sending needs an upgraded Twilio account, and texts are billed to it. Google needs your own OAuth client |
| Zapier | A new or updated row starts a Zap at once. A new Twilio text is found on a polling check | Templates such as sending a Twilio text for each new row, or adding new Twilio texts to a sheet as rows | One Zap per direction, one text per row. New Twilio texts are checked every 15 minutes on Zapier's lowest plan |
| Google Sheets add-ons (for example ConnectTo Twilio SMS) | You, from the add-on sidebar in Sheets | Sending texts to selected rows or the whole sheet, personalised with sheet formulas, and tracking each text's status in the sheet | A separate add-on license, on top of your Twilio account and its credits. Its listed features cover sending and status tracking, not saving replies |
| Apps Script (Twilio's tutorial) | You run the script from the sheet | Sending the message in each row to the phone in that row and writing sent or error in a Status column | You write and maintain the code, with your Account SID and Auth Token pasted into the script. Anything more, like saving replies, you code yourself |
Saved as an automation, like these jobs: every day at 10am, every hour or every weekday at 8am. Neither app sends events to Letaido.

Yes. Zapier, Sheets add-ons and Apps Script can send a Twilio text from a row. Leta, Letaido's AI agent, does the jobs around your list: texting opted-in rows by first name, sending event reminders, logging replies and missed calls, checking whether each contact's latest text was delivered, and checking phone numbers.
Ask Leta in chat with the link to your sheet, like "Text our sale offer to the opted-in people in our sheet". It texts each row with Yes in SMS opt-in and an empty Status from your Twilio number, then writes Twilio's answer in the Status column, so a second run skips those rows.
Paste a Twilio API key into Letaido and connect Google Sheets with your own Google OAuth client. Then describe the job in chat with the link to your sheet, or paste a prompt from a job on this page.
Not on its own. Neither Twilio nor Google Sheets sends events to Letaido, so a new row can't start a text. Jobs run on a schedule, such as every hour or every morning, or when you ask in chat.
Yes. Every hour, Leta adds the texts people sent to your Twilio number in the previous full clock hour to a Replies tab, with a type and, when the sender matches exactly one Contacts row, their first name, and sets SMS opt-in to No when the STOP sender matches exactly one Contacts row. Every weekday at 8am, it adds unanswered, busy and failed calls to a Callbacks tab.
Each text is billed to your Twilio account. A trial account can only send Twilio's predefined template texts to verified numbers, so you need an upgraded account, and US texts from a local number need A2P 10DLC registration in Twilio.
Allow all read operations once per app; approve each kind of write once. After that, a saved job runs on its schedule.
Connect Twilio and Google Sheets, then ask for a job like "Text our sale offer to the opted-in people in our sheet". Leta gets it done on your schedule, or the moment you ask.
