How the SendGrid integration works

Connect SendGrid once. After that, you describe each job in plain English.

  1. 1Paste a SendGrid API key
  2. 2Ask for a job in a chat, or start from an example above
  3. 3Approve the first run

Allow all read operations once per app; approve each kind of write once.

  4. 4Watch the first run in the chat

Save it to run every morning.

Frequently asked

How do I connect SendGrid to Letaido? +

In SendGrid, open Settings, then API Keys, and create a key. Copy it, since SendGrid shows it once, and paste it into Letaido.

Which API key permissions does it need? +

Full Access works. For a Restricted key, give it Mail Send, Marketing, Suppressions and Template Engine. A job can only use what the key allows.

Can a SendGrid event start a job? +

Yes. Letaido sets up SendGrid's Event Webhook for you, so a bounce, an open, a click or an unsubscribe can start a job. Only one SendGrid event job can be active per API key, because SendGrid has one Event Webhook per account. To handle bounces in HubSpot and pricing clicks in Salesforce, ask for both in one job.

Will it send email from my account? +

Only if a job asks for it, from a verified sender. Sending is its own kind of write, and only the failed payment job above sends.

What do I approve before it changes SendGrid? +

Allow all read operations once per app; approve each kind of write once.

Does SendGrid integrate with Salesforce? +

Yes. With Letaido, a click in a SendGrid email can become a task for the Salesforce record owner, as in the job above.

Is there a SendGrid MCP server? +

Twilio has a public beta MCP server that searches Twilio and SendGrid docs and API specs. It does not touch your account. Letaido is not an MCP server. It has its own SendGrid connector and runs jobs on your account with your other apps.

How is Letaido different from the SendGrid API? +

The API needs developers to write and run code. With Letaido you describe the job and the agent uses the API for you, with 64 other apps. It connects 65 apps, not thousands.

Put your SendGrid data to work

Connect SendGrid, then ask for a job like "Find out why an email didn't arrive using SendGrid". Leta gets it done on your schedule, or the moment you ask.
